What is your favorite ice cream?
I don't think I have a favorite, per say. I like ice cream with a lot of stuff in it - fruit, chocolate, chunks of whatever. I don't really like nuts, though.

What does it take to be a part of your friends network?
Intelligence, a great sense of humor, open-mindedness, and the ability to laugh at yourself.

What was the best political experience you've had?
There are a few, but the best was definitely taking part in the protest of the appearance of George W. Bush at my university in the fall of 2006. In a few days we managed to pull together 200-300 students, professors, and local community members to stage a rally in a really conservative small Southern town. In the end, my voice was gone, my body ached, but I was in such a state of euphoria that none of that even mattered. It was absolutely amazing.

Who was the first president you voted for?
John Kerry. Luckily I couldn't vote in 2000 (I was 15) because I'm sure I would have voted for Bush. *shudders*

Have you ever been a member of another political party besides your current party?
No, but I am always open to the possibilty. You never know what could happen, but right now I am so proud and happy to be a Democrat, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Who is your favorite candidate/elected official? (can be alive or dead)
Nancy Pelosi is my hero - really, she's an amazing and inspiring woman. If a liberal woman from San Fransisco can become Speaker of the House, then I can be and do anything I want.

What was the last movie you watched? And how was it?
The last movie I watched was "Volver," and it was excellent. I love foreign films, and this one was no exception.
