I'm a fiercely liberal Democrat, a video game designer, a fan of monkeys, and geek (does putting that after "video game designer" make it redundant?). I would like it to be known that I was into monkeys and robots long before they were cool. Despite my strongly held liberal views, I'm always up for a good discussion or debate. As Mr. Lif says, "Your thoughts are always welcome, I seldom won't endure another's perspective."

What is your earliest memory?
Reading a book in an armchair in my parents' bedroom. I think it was "Snow" by P.D. Eastman and R. McKee, but that may be wrong.

Who is your favorite candidate/elected official? (can be alive or dead)
Martin Van Buren, 'cos no one ever says Martin Van Buren, and that makes me sad. He's probably lonely. When not picking out of pity, I'd say Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He instituted some of the most liberal programs in US history, and far from dooming us to facelessness under a brutal totalitarian system, they've endured to this day (though not without some problems) and strengthened our country tremendously. And he put us on the road to winning one of the greatest conflicts in all of human history, so I have no idea where this "Democrats can't defend America" bunk comes from.

What does it take to be a part of your friends network?
Not much. It helps if I actually know you to start with, but if your profile doesn't seem completely off the wall, you'll probably get accepted. Some interests in common would help, but I like talking to people who aren't carbon copies of me, so that's not a complete necessity. A good sense of humor is pretty important, and I am the ultimate arbiter of what constitutes a "good" sense of humor. Many of my friends consider my sense of humor odd. They are, quite simply, wrong.

Describe your ultimate dream vacation.
A group of my close friends sharing a beach house on the Outer Banks of North Carolina (preferably around Duck). During the day we'd be at the beach or biking or just generally relaxing. At night we'd eat well, listen to good music, play games (video and otherwise), drink, listen to good music, and philosophize and discuss weighty matters and current events.
