| Without naming names, what was the worst political experience you've had? |
| Not so much worst...but awkward/cringeworthy. at the summertime blue event i was going to go take my one-on-one picture with congressman lewis. the plan was to do the "shake hands, say its an honor to meet you, turn and smile for the camera". however, he sort of did this weird thing with his left arm which made me think that he was going to hug me. now, i've never been that much of a hugger, but i oblige those who are, especially the polical ones (like Rep Mable Thomas), so i kind of turned to hug him. it was weird, but it basically ended up with me awkwardly placing my chin on his shoulder for like 2 seconds, then turning to smile for the camera. yeah - i'm pretty sure no one noticed (even the picture taker) and lord knows Congressman Lewis doesnt remember, however, i must live with this cringe-worthy memory for the rest of my life whenever i think of that event.
also, needless to say, i will not be taking any more pictures with Congressman Lewis |

| my parent's first DC apartment when i was a kid. it was this basement studio shithole in which my bedroom was the portion behind a curtain. |

| the first one i can remember was walking through the mall (DC) when i was a kid with my mom and there was a big pro-choice rally going on. there was also the pro-life thing going on "next door" in which there were a bunch of white cross "grave markers". my mom explained to me what was going on, and (this is why i love my mom) totally did not give me her opinion on what was right or wrong |
